Fynvue does not collect, store, transmit, or share any personal information, browsing data, financial data, or any other user data whatsoever. The extension operates entirely within your local browser environment. No data leaves your device.
Specifically, Fynvue does not collect: personal identification information (name, email, phone number, etc.); financial data, portfolio information, or trading activity; browsing history, search queries, or visited URLs; cookies, tracking pixels, or device fingerprints; IP addresses or geolocation data; or any form of analytics or usage telemetry.
2. How the Extension Works
Fynvue reads publicly available financial data displayed on supported websites (currently Yahoo Finance and Finviz) and performs calculations locally within your browser to generate health scores and metrics. All data processing occurs on your device.
The extension makes requests to public financial data APIs (such as Yahoo Finance's quoteSummary API) directly from your browser to retrieve supplementary data for the page you are currently viewing. These requests are made directly between your browser and the third-party data provider. Fynvue LLC does not operate any intermediary servers and does not have access to these requests or their responses.
3. Data Storage
Fynvue does not maintain any databases, servers, or cloud storage. No user data is stored locally on your device by the extension beyond the standard browser extension storage used for your display preferences (such as whether the sidebar is open or closed). No account creation is required to use Fynvue.
4. Third-Party Services
Fynvue does not integrate with any third-party analytics services, advertising networks, or data brokers. The extension does not use Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, or any similar tracking technologies. The only third-party interactions are the direct API requests your browser makes to financial data providers (Yahoo Finance) to retrieve publicly available market data for the securities you are viewing.
5. Cookies and Tracking
Fynvue does not use cookies, web beacons, tracking pixels, or any other tracking technologies. The extension does not track your browsing behavior across websites or within supported websites.
6. Children's Privacy
Fynvue is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect any information from children under 13. Since Fynvue does not collect any user data from any user, no special provisions for children's data are necessary.
7. Website (fynvue.com)
The Fynvue website at fynvue.com may use minimal, privacy-respecting analytics to understand aggregate traffic patterns (such as page views and referral sources). No personally identifiable information is collected through the website. If you use the live demo feature on the website, the ticker symbol you enter is sent to a third-party API to retrieve financial data. This request does not include any personal information and is not logged or stored by Fynvue LLC.
8. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. We encourage you to review this Privacy Policy periodically. Your continued use of Fynvue after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Privacy Policy.
